MyPolice is just another way for you to get closer to the neighbourhoods you serve and really understand what they want.

MyPolice makes your life easier by:

  1. Increasing your visibility

As well as being visible when you are out on foot patrol you can now be virtually visible when you are online.

  2. Broadening the range and diversity of the people you reach

MyPolice is a way for you to talk to citizens you wouldn't typically meet through traditional methods of consultation.

  3. Reducing the demands on you and your team

The stories on MyPolice will enable you to spot problems before they escalate into issues that require time and resources.

  4. Signposting

We believe crime is everyone's problem. Often the Police are held responsible by default. We signpost stories to other organisations such as the council, local schools and charities.

  5. Giving you the opportunity to respond

We believe MyPolice will reduce complaints. In the current situation a person may have a minor concern or even misunderstood how the police have dealt with them, currently their only way to get that addressed would be to complain. MyPolice gives the public a different opportunity and gives you the opportunity to respond and clarify.
