It will only take a few minutes to share your story. Sign up to make your feedback even more powerful, otherwise you will be anonymous.

We want to help make real improvements in your police service by sharing people's real experiences with real local police officers. It therefore follows that we want those people who share their experiences to be real, too.

Imagine you are a sparking a conversation that will kick start a more positive relationship with your local police. Wouldn't you like to know the name of officer who will feed back on your story? And don't you think they'd like to get to know you, too? It's in your interest to say who you are. After all, whatever industry we're talking about, you always receive the best service when someone else knows you and truly understands your needs.

Your voice is even more powerful when you put your name to it.

However, we'd rather hear your story anonymously, rather than not hear it at all. The most important thing is that you share your experiences.

Once you have signed up, you can log in every time you visit the site.

  2. Tell your story

140 characters isn't much. It's roughly 26 words, or three or four sentences. We'd love it if you can provide at least this much text. And we'd be just as happy if you want to go into more detail. Use as many words as you need to say what you have to say. It needn't take long. Just explain as simply as you can what happened or what you'd like to say to the police.

Tell us your ideas on how to make things better. The police are there to provide YOU with a service. But they can't make the changes unless they know what you want. What suggestions would you make?

Which words summarise your story? They'll help us categorise it. For example, if your story was about a burglary at your house, you might tag your story with the words 'burglary', 'home', 'criminal' and 'theft'. Use as many as you like but perhaps no more than five or six. Please separate the words with a comma.

  3. Rate
